Storey Sport is the brainchild of Personal Trainer and former New Zealand elite athlete Alison Storey

The core of Storey Sport is a mobile personal training business with its base in Cambridge in the Waikato in New Zealand.

Alison believes that the key to a successful lifestyle change is a positive attitude, a strong self-belief and committing to realistic and achievable goals.

Having worked in the health & fitness industry since 1992, Alison's excellent knowledge base and considerable experience has enabled her to have a positive influence on the lives of people from all walks of life. Alison has a passion for educating people about their fitness and health and encourages them to use effective and safe exercise and nutrition techniques. She thrives on helping people to maintain a long-term commitment to their physical well being.

Alison's professional and competitive history speaks for itself. Alison was a manager of Les Mill's World of Fitness and has competed internationally in the NZ Rhythmical Gymnastics Team as well as the NZ Rowing Team, winning a Commonwealth Gold Medal in the coxless four in 2002.  Recently retired from rowing, Beach Volleyball has become her new sport.

Providing guidance and motivation for people to achieve their goals is wholly important to Alison. Her passion for fitness comes from her sporting background and years of encouragement and support from her Olympic medal winning father Dudley Storey.

Alison is committed to her professional development, continually updating her theoretical and practical knowledge. Whilst a member of the NZ Rowing Team she studied extramurally towards a Sport Business Management degree with Massey University. Alison is also a volunteer coach for the Cambridge Volleyball Club, a member of the Variety Club of New Zealand, a founding trustee of the Waikato Recreation Charitable Trust that built the Karapiro Sand Court facility, a regional representative for the PT Council of NZ and a former President of the Cambridge Chapter of Business Network International.
